A behaviour support plan is an important part of a resident’s story, to explain relevant behaviours and the reasons why any restrictive practice considered necessary was introduced, as well as how it is being managed, reviewed and its use minimised.
This module discusses the underlying purpose of a behaviour support plan as well as the information required to be included in the plan.
