Module Description

The strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards require providers to have processes to monitor medicines and vaccines, and report any adverse drug events to the TGA; the process on how to report is detailed in this module. It also defines adverse drug events and reactions, recognises symptoms of anaphylaxis, discusses the use of adrenaline as well as describe the importance of correct procedures when recording adverse drug reactions.
