This module discusses various types of topical preparations and different factors affecting preparation choice. Learners will be able to recognise important instructions for use and determine how much to apply. The use of topical antimicrobials are also discussed to meet with AMS requirements, together with special precautions recommended for the use of topical cytotoxic medications.
